I ordinarily keep a potato sliced in half in my cricket container, though yesterday, my mom had sliced one up for them with a few eyes on it. I've heard that once a potato begins to sprout them, it becomes toxic. They haven't nibbled on the roots directly, though it's nearly been a day since the potato was in there, and wanted to know if they'd still be safe to feed to my juvenile. I've had him about 5 months and was rather small when I got him, so I don't assume he's much older than 6-7 months altogether.

You know the saying - if in doubt don't.

I'd stop using potato and switch to chunks of fresh carrot .... it wont forment and make the bugs drunk ....

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
