Can i feed my beardie gold squash?

i am trying to expand my bearded dragons diet and i have bought some gold squash. it's a weird shape and i'll put a picture of what it looks like but i was just wondering if it was alright for him. if so how do i prepare it?

I'm still nervous on what to feed him as our breeder said to feed the kale, spinach, carrot, alfalfa sprouts, mung beans and purple cabbage so they have only been having that for a year and now i am nervous to give them new things and i'm unsure on what to feed them.
