Can beardies eat Sage?

I have been searching on the internet and I see both that sage is and isn't good for beardies to consume. I am asking because I am looking to put a plant in Basil's tank, but I want something that he can chew on. Thing is, Basil is a very picky eater and doesn't always finish his salad. So even if Sage is something he can't consume all the time, Basil would probably only much on it occasionally. But also, he is not a fan of veggies that have strong scents or tastes.

However, if sage is completely not OK for beardies to eat, I will not plant one in his tank. If sage is a no go, what plants do you recommend?

Think I might just end up planting basil in Basil's tank

Tried to get him to try a bit, and he won't have it. Maybe he will warm up to it.

Sage and basil are both fine to add to a varied diet.
