can beardies eat honeysuckle???

I looked at the site that many of us use and Honeysuckle is not listed there as one of the plants that are safe for a beardie eat. That being said, I do not know if they are unsafe or not, but they are not on the list of plants proven safe for beardies to eat.

I'm inclined to think they are ok b/c they are flowers that we can eat - I guess...well, do we? so if we can supposedly eat these flowers, I thought the rule of thumb was they could also eat these flowers.

but, I don't trust my reasoning on that one........

I am paranoid and never try anything that I do not know is safe. Too scared too. I always just err on the side of caution.

I asked veronica from the beautiful dragon website and she said she wasn't sure but honeysuckle is poisonous to dogs so...yes, err on the side of caution. No honeysuckle for us! its too bad bc I have tons of it!!

Just wondering. I googled 'honeysuckle' and got a bunch of pictures of a kind of flower. The plant I've always called 'honeysuckle' is the flower of the red clover, which is harmless. Could be a regional thing, I dunno.
