can bearded dragons bathe daily?

sid loves to take baths and i was wandering if putting her in the tub for around 15 to 20 min a day would be bad for her skin or something? i've read that you can give them baths like two to four times a week but no one ever specifies if every day is a bad thing

I try to bath mine daily when they are not brumating as they are potty trained to go in the bath rather than their viv's. It's recommended to soak them for a 20 minute period but I think if your bathing daily you can cut that in half...I do or with 9 beardies I'd spend 1/2 the day handing out baths. As long as you water temp is lukewarm and the water isn't higher than armpits or shoulders then I don't see any problems...well I've never had any. Bathing is the best way to get them to poop...it is the best way to keep them hydrated...an it really helps with sheds.

Yep! Budo loves his baths too, gets them every day, and refuses to poo anywhere but in the bath. :roll:

Just remember to disinfect! I have heard of a lot of people bathing their dragons in the kitchen sink. :shock:
