Let me know the results of the fecal when you get them back. Thanks. Keep trying with the syringe feeding, because she needs more food since she is not eating much on her own right now.
You could get some bee pollen & some jumpstart which would really help with her appetite. The jumpstart you can get from:

The bee pollen you can find at most healthfood stores or the pharmacy or supplemental area in grocery stores or drug stores.
Also, make sure that you keep the tank warmer at night, around 80 or so, to help with the immune system right now. Use a ceramic heat emitter or a heating pad on LOW, with a towel in between the heating pad & your girl.

hi tracie,
well my bulb went today so i bought a replacment reptisun 10 and she seemed to perk up so i'm thinking maybe i had a dodgy bulb.
the bulb was only 2 weeks old too
i tried to syringe feed her again just now and only managed to give her a little before she welded her mouth shut and she wouldnt lick off her nose either.....
but... i was nudging a cricket in her viv with my tweezers and her eyes were following the tweezers so i got a little chunk of butternut squash with the tweezer, moved it around a little in front of her and she ate it tried it again and she was having none of it though
so shes eaten 3 crickets, a little baby food and a piece of butternut squash today which is better than nothing i suppose.
shes also had a bathe so shes well hydrated.

i'll have a ring round the pet stores in the morning to see if anywhere stocks the jump start and i'll try the bee pollen too.

hi covedwellerxd2, yep they are together, i know theyre usually supposed to be seperate but theyre best friends,theres no arguing and neither tries to be dominant, they just snuggle up and lick each other
i do have another viv though if anything changes between them in the future, but hopefully they stay good chums

So you got a new UVB light then? How old was your other one? That is good she has eaten a little bit today.
How old is she again?
Since she is housed with a male, are you sure that he is not dominating her any?

hi, shes 3 months and 3 weeks old and the bulb was only 2 weeks old
nope, hes definately not showing any dominant behaviour, no lying on top of each other or anything like that, he always waits patiently for her to eat before he does, hes very sweet with her.
shes shown a massive improvement today, she ate 4 crickets and a few waxies,i know waxies arent the best feeder but just thought i'd try a different feeder and she got all excited and woofed them down
hopefully my dubias will arrive in the morning so i can try her with them

Hello,

Good there is no dominant behavior with them yet. There will be though, once they begin to get older.
Eventually you will have to separate them though or he will overbreed her. That shortens the female lifespan for her to be overbred.
GREAT that she is eating much better today, that is good news. I hope that she continues to get better. Hopefully her appetite will improve even more.

hi guys, the boy had a change of personality today. hes just started getting his black beard and he started climbing on top of her, started showing dominant behaviour so i've decided to split them up.
the little boyis only in a 2ft viv at the moment but i'll buy him a new 4ft next payday in a weeks time.
i'm thinking that may have been the problem but i've just not seen it, hopefully she shows some improvement over the next couple of days now shes on her own.
have i done the right thing splitting them?

definitely. even if you don't see any dominance, there is usually some going on. i lost a baby iguana that way (quite a while ago). wishing you and yours well,

great! just curious, can they still see each other? it may be less stressful for your little girl if she can't see your boy.

at the moment, he can see her viv and is glass dancing to get at her but i dont think she can see him, i'm not too sure.
i've bought a unit for them to go on which is coming this afternoon, then the vivs will be stacked so they definately wont be able to see each other.
when shes got her strength back up. will it be ok for them to come out of the vivs together or will they not get along now theyre not living together?

I would bring them out separately, where the other can't see the one out. If dominance and glass dancing is going on with the male, then I don't think it wise to let them both together for any reason.
