Can a beardie half 'brumate'?

My bearded dragon is in good health, but for a week he will not eat or move from his 'bed' (folded blanket), then some days he eats alot of salad and supers, and wants to explore! He is about a year old, or a bit more, he hasn't lost any weight and is bright and his eyes are clear, its just strange how he toggles on and off from 'brumation'. I offer fresh salad every day with calcium and all that jazz, and he gets bathed every few days.

When does 'brumation' end if he is even brumating? He was waaaayyy more active in the fall!!

Hello,

Yes, they can partially brumate. They can be in & out of brumation for several months. How long has he been trying to brumate & is he maintaining his bodyweight too? That is impressive, his system is only slightly shut down so he should be fine for awhile.
If he is eating off & on just make sure that he basks enough to help with digesting.

He hasnt been eating much at all, and he is lazy, but he hasnt lost any weight! He hasnt gone the bathroom in a few days (he really hasnt been eatting much to even go the bathroom) so Ive been giving him baths until he goes, Im getting worried but I guess its just cause its winter! he isnt loosing weight at all
