Can a beardie become depressed?

Our sweet girl dragon(Seuzy)passed away yesterday.... & today Zues our oldest beardie Zues is looking so depressed... This morning he woke up and our usual routine is to take them both out, breakfast time, then they both sit in the window for a few hours, bath time and then they both go back to they're own houses to bask.. He's been walking around looking for her all day and he won't eat or bask...
Now he's black bearding and he'll walk around for a few minutes and bobb his head...walk around ..bobb his head...

Yes, I think they can. Give Zeus extra love. Has he been healthy? I ask this because he should be ok eventually unless their is an underlying illness you don't know about. That happened to us with our first two. They were best friends, tho and most beardies aren't that way. We haven't seen best friend beardies since. When Miss Y died, Miss O was soo depressed the first thing she did was leave her favorite basking spot (bedroom window) and crawled under the bed. We lost her 2 days short of 2 months later because she had an illness we didn't know about. The blood tests indicated she had a severe kidney failure.

I'm sorry seuzy died. I know how much you hurt.

I agree..I need to make sure Zues is ok too...He had test(s) run last month on both of them and Zues' we're all negative.. that can change quickly though..

Thanks for the reply and I'm sorry to hear you lost your baby also...I miss Seuzy so much, just not the same without her here.. but she's not in pain anymore...
