Can a BD catch MY cold?

Just asking this feels stupid. Were different species. But My bf and i just got the flu last week and. Im.very sorry to say i forgot my jubby was asleep on my chest....and i full sneezed in his face. Dont hate me! It was one of those sneezes that just happens and you dont know its coming. He was my constant companion while i was all sick and gross. Now ive noticed hes sluggish.and cou gh ing too. Im taking him to the vet in 2 days. Just thou ght id ask.
