Hello, speaking from personal experience I have never had this problem. My beardie has always been calm, never aggressive or anything like that. However his appetite is pretty poor. My cousins beardie is very vicious but he is a great eater. Maybe their wild instincts help them eat? Idk it seems to have some correlation. I'd rather have a feisty beardie though then one who never eats. If you keep handling him I'm sure hell get used to it and not mind so much. You can maybe even try putting winter gloves on until he realizes that when he bites it doesn't get a reaction. Thats my two cents. Some others on here have better experience with this than I do.

Hi I'm new to beardies,we just got our baby about a month ago. (he's really my son's but I've become very attached to him. he is so sweet. But getting to your question, we have a leopard gecko who acts the same way, since we got him almost a year ago. What people told me was to keep putting our hands in the tank everyday until he's not afraid. We are doing that and he has gotten better, but we still can't pick him up. That is why we got our dragon,my son wanted to be able to interact with his pets. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
