Ok, so yesterday I got this guy:
roJKk.jpg

You can notice the shedding under his chin.
This is my first morning with him. I turned on his light and he shortly after woke up and got out of his little cave. He basked for a few minutes and then ate the collard greens I just put out (he only ate a few bites). I have the Rep-Cal Phosphorous free Calcium Powder with vitamin D3. Should I also have a another vitamin supplement? Or is that all I need? Is that even a good calcium powder? And how often should I use it. I just very lightly dusted his veggies. Any help is awesome! And naming ideas are appreciated too. He's unnamed :(.

That is a very good calcium supplement, in my opinion, if you're using a non-mercury vapor buld, like the Reptisun 10.0. If you are using a Mercury Vapor bulb you will need the same calcium except minus the D3. For a beardie his age you should be dusting his feeders ONE time a day, FIVE days a week. There's no need to put any on the greens if his feeders are dusted. You will also need to use a mulitivitamin, I recommend Rep-Cal Herptivite Multivitamin, I put a link to it below so you can see what it looks like. There are numerous places this can be purchased, including Petsmart and Amazon. With the multivitamin you will dust his feeders ONE time a day TWO days a week. To make it simple to keep up with, I do Mon-Fri calcium, Sat-Sun I use multivitamin. Once he/she turns a year old the supplementation will change.

Great advice. I recommend both as well. I'm pretty sure this is what Linziehonn was referring to: http://www.repcal.com/supp.htm.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
