I am a future Beardie owner. In the past couple of weeks, I have been researching Beardies and setting up the habitat to be sure things are set up correctly.
With that note... A friend of mine adds the calcium dust to the water inside of his spray bottle that he uses to mist his Beardie. Is that a good idea? I just want to be sure that they are getting the right amount of Calcium. I previously owned an Iguana and he unfortuantly died due to a calcium deficency from the pet store. So, with buying a second lizard, I am quite nervous about making sure that they are in the best condition I can provide. I have also am anxious about the first few months, since the beardies available are young juveniles and I know that the first few months are the most important when dealing with illness and whatnot.
Any further suggestions are also greatly appreciated. Thank you.
