Not sure if I have asked this before, but does anyone put calcium in a bowl for their beardie? Just so he/she can eat it when they want, like many do with Leopard Geckos?
It's just that, whenever I have put a bit of calcium on Draco's veg (as well as live feeder dusting), and it has fallen in a clump/pile, he goes right for it and starts eating it. Now, all the care sheets I have read, when talking about calcium and vitamins, say that Beardies can OD on vits, but not calcium!?!? SO... does that not meen it'd be ok to put a small bowl of it in the viv, and let Draco eat it when he feels the need? Since I have witnessed him doing so anyway?
Just a thought.
Cheers,
Jon
