calcium aswel as drops?

i took my BD to the vet, a so called specialist, she repeated everything i said and in the end sent me off with some calcium drops,
she said to give him ONE drop per day, i asked her if i should give him the powder in his hoppers and she said she didn't know
(not happy i had to pay £50 to see this uneducated excuse of a vet but it was the only one in my area)
but anyway could someone please help me out, do i give my little man the drops AND the dust on his hoppers or just the drops?

the dust is Calci-dust (the one often advertised in practical Reptile magazine)

Could you tell us what the drops are and what she said why you have to give the drops? I would do only one or the other not both. Just keep your eye open for changes in the urates. Adjust accordingly. Hope this helped.
