Hi folks,

since i got slartibartfast is appetite for hoppers and crickets has been pretty low but he munches his salad down no worries. i came across calci worms (phoenix worms in the US i believe) online and he seems to love them. laps them up like candy.. he still eats a few hoppers here and there but it takes more coaxing. slarti is 5 months old, temps and uv light are good. nutrobal on his salad 2x a week.
i've had him for 3 weeks and he's been shedding for maybe a week now. legs, tail and face first. now his back is getting ready to shed. hopefully when he's done shedding his appetite for bugs will go up again..

my question is are calci (phoenix) worms ok as the main part of his live feed for now? hopefully when he's an adult large hoppers and roaches will appeal to him more than the smaller worms.

Yes Phoenix worms are a great staple for young dragons, and they certainly love them! Since they are naturally high in calcium you will not have to dust them either.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
