Cage OPINIONS PLEASE POST!!!

so i just finished building a cage for my oldest beardie (9 months) and its very plain inside

so i want opinions on what i can put inside to make it look better i dont mind pictures

looks wonderful but you do need to decorate it. too much open space will stress your beardie out badly. go out and cut some fresh limbs from some trees (not pine or cedar, and make sure the limbs are big enough to support your beardies belly!). you can also go to home depot or lowes to the garden section and get fancy decor rocks. get a kitten sized litter pan to use as a water dish. add some hides and hammocks everywhere. ive noticed all my beardies love to climb and run and jump in their cages.

look at the craft stores, hardware stores, and online to get ideas!

I thought i'd put a pic of mine on which might help with ideas (by no means is it the best set up but it works)

My beardie can get shelter behind the big log- i removed her hide when she was a baby as she would spend most of her time in there and not get the benifit of the UVB lighting. I also removed the water dish as she wouldn't drink from it and it was raising humidity. Hope this helps a bit

Thank you. I got the log from a local reptile pet shop and the large driftwood which was £30, i got the plant from another local reptile pet shop and i got the background from ebay.

How about making some DIY rock platforms? I'm making anotherone for my viv... They are kind of addicting LOL! :lol:

question to the builder the viv looks awesome.. im in the process of gathering supplies to build mine,, i wanted to use plywood,, what did u seal ur plywood with.

hahah ,, no i meant the wood its self....did u use something like thompsons.seal... or anything ,, ive been reading and getting mixed answeres on the whole plywood use.... some say it safe to use if u seal it... and thats what im trying to figure out ... what brand or kind are ppl using... thompsons.. etc. and i also read its not safe to use plywood because of the glue in it ..when the wood gets hottttt.... im so confused on what to use...

It cost's a lot if you get a small amount but gets more reasonable when ya get closer to a gal size.
