Just went out to see if any of my garden survived the storm.
The hail beat up my tomato plants and broke some, but thank goodness my beardie greens and butternut squash have survived. Wheew!
Miss Piggy is still hanging in there. Though she is loosing muscle mass in her legs this I don't like seeing. But she's not had but 1 or 2 seizures in the past several weeks so thats good.
Ms. Tiggs is driving me nutz! She doesn't want to stay in her viv...she only wants to tease the boys or be outside. ARG!!! I hope the weather is nice today so I can get some quiet time by putting her in the outdoor enclosure...that's the only place she will sit still.
Blaze, Checkers, Flame, Gus and Zak-n-Wheezie are all being loud hormonal nuts with black beards. Not so hormonal that they have given up food though so that's good. Flame tried scaring me last year with his hormonal food strike so it's good to see he's eating still.
And Gus after his encounter with Roux has calmed down some.
Yep you read that right...
Gus and Roux are now lovers. I was so amazed at their encounter. I thought for sure Roux would be her mean little self, but she was totally submissive. Afterwards they followed each other around tonguing each other. Tiggs never wanted anything to do with her mate once he got her.
Now I just have to wait for those eggies. I'm ready! I have baby fever!
Lola was the last to come out of brumation this year...what a sleeper just like her daddy. It's good to see her running around, basking, eating, and pooping like normal again.
Itty Bitty is getting ready for shed... you know in patches, but lots of them so this is good to see.
