I still get sad when I come to this thread...I miss Miss Piggy so much.

Okay on a happier note!

I was sitting at the 'puter when I heard the pitter patter scratch scratch of Gus in the kitchen.
Then I heard a crunch! :shock: Uh, Oh!
Running to the kitchen to see what the heck he found to eat...I found him munching on dry cat food.
Goofey nut!

Turned to look in the bedroom at his salad dish in the window where he prefers to eat...thinking maybe I should refill
his dish and seen this....

Are my animals confused? I think so!

That's not the least of it...here we have "RepCal beardie bites vs. cat food.....
I tried to offer him beardie bites but as you can see that's not what he wanted....
But apparently Flip-it kitty did. :laughhard:

I know I sure needed that laugh, thanks Barbara. Beardies have a way to make me laugh, more so than any other animal ever has. I miss your Miss Piggy also, but I'm glad you had as much time with her that you did.

I know she lived a long life an I had lots of snuggle time with her :love5: , but I sure do miss those snuggles of hers.

I'm glad you got a laugh from it...Gus is such a character so is Flip-it... with these 2 there's never a dull moment. :lol:

OMG, that's so funny. They both enjoyed sharing and eating each other's food while on the floor. It's so great that they get along SO well. And, if you run out of beardie bites or catfood, you can always substitute one or the other, they won't care. :lol:

I'm so glad that you, Deb, Gina, Dawn, and Lori found it as entertaining and funny as I did.

I have found that the cats all love beardie bites they think they are treats(though usually they are moistened), but I had no idea :shock:
that Gus liked dry cat food so well. :lol:
He seems to be fine no tummy ache or anything. :dontknow:

They were great cuddles! :love5:

Bogie loved cat food. The girls will eat a bit now and then. The thing Ramoth really loves is Crunch Berries cereal. :shock: She followed Daniel's trail through the house last week crunching all the way. :lol: Wish I had thought to get the camera.

Barb, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize Miss Piggy had passed away. She was such a big beautiful beardie!

It's good to see Gus and Roux's little poopers. They are stunning.

Sandy I use to have a beardie, Missy, before I joined the site that loved can cat food...I think that's was her main diet before I got her. She would leap across the viv when I'd get near with a spoon full. I have never seen a beardie that enjoyed dry cat food the way Gus does.
Do you have any idea how funny it is when you drop the cat food in the dish and not only do 3 cats and a chihuahua come running, but so does a dragon.... :lol:

funny story! Especially the bit about following after the fearsome fivesome!

One of my boys, Ernie likes to eat dog food - He knows where the bowl is and if I forget to pick it up when he's down he goes right to it and I hear a crunch crunch - I used to worry about it but he's been fine so I usually don't bother to pick it up anymore - I have dry beardie bites and he refuses to eat those - so go figure why!

Oddly enough it's nearly 100* here today...yet all my adult beardies are fast asleep.

This has been the oddest of years for beardie owner's in my area. :roll:

As usual I waited till the last minute on calendar pic's and being all are asleep the only pic's I submitted this year were of Zak-n-Wheezie.
Time to change the name of my thread again... :lol:
