Buzzing UVB light/fixture causing stress?

I have a tube uvb light( repti glo 10.0) in a lighting fixture, and it makes this constant low buzzing noise. Im not sure if this is whats causing my beardie to try to get out of his viv all the time, but i have it turned off now and hes very calm. Could this be the bulb or the fixture? :S

Note : he was raised with a compact uvb bulb(makes no noise), and i just recently switched him over to a tube bulb because i read so many bad things about the compact ones.
