Buying Dubia Roaches in Bulk, need ADVISE

I am planning to buy dubia roaches in bulk, 250-500 at a time. I feed my juvenile beardie 20-30 a day, my question is how should I store them so they last me over a month? I was planning to just buy a small bin with lid and making some holes on the lid and throwing so veggies/fruits in there for them? will this work? I do not want to breed them myself.

Put the dubia in a solid colored (not clear) rubbermaid tote of appropriate size for how many you have in there, put holes in the top, throw in some egg carton and add a small slice of potato every day for food and water. They will live, believe me. Roaches are not nearly as delicate as other feeders. You do need to keep them fairly warm though, around 80. I use a heating pad for this purpose but I do also breed them. It takes months for the breeding to take place and for the roaches to get bigger so as long as you feed them off fast, you wont have any babies.

for one depends how old and big your BD is, mine just went through over 500 @3/4" in 11 days and he is 5 months old...So in less you got money to burn, I would start breeding them...And remember the small the food the more he or she will eat
