Butterworts

My beardie is refusing to eat anything but butterworms. Is this okay. How many should he eat a day. He is one Yr old but small for his age. The vet told me to give him some to make sure he is getting enough calcium to stop his mbd from progressing. Thanks in advance

Butterworms are a great feeder insect, they are much more nutritionally complete then crickets and some other feeders.

They are butterworms and not waxworms right?

Their butterworms so it won't hurt him of that's all he,ll eat

No, they are a healthy feeder it won't hurt him to eat them. But I still would try to offer other insects too. A healthy varied diet makes a healthy dragon.

Per my vet.....butter and phoenix worms are the best worms to feed. Very high in calcium!
