Chance, I thought only loved accorn squash and thats it for vegs. Yesterday I thought well if he loves that squash he must love another kind of squash! I was so right. I think he likes more butternut then accorn now because he picked around the accorn and ate all the butternut first lol! Finally another veg he will eat!!!! :blob5:

They sure do have some strange habits! Angie loved her butternut squash and hated any other veggies. Now, the butternut remains in the bowl, but all the rockets disappear. Flippie would not touch the butternut and loved the rockets. Now, he refuses all greens but wolfs down the butternut.

Yeah greens are starting to remain left in his dish..... Picking little guy lol. Then again I was the same way as a kid. If it was green i didn't want to eat it.

LOL, that is one habit that I have still not outgrown. Picky dragons: Oh yes! Flippie was raised on crickets, but lately refuses them. At first we thought they are either to fast for him or he's got Attention Deficit Disorder. Roaches which are lots faster than the crickets (that he's never had before) is all he will eat now. Starting my roach colony soon, but have to keep the crickets as well as that is all Angie would eat.

yoda is a good boy eats his endive and crickets but spits out any butternut that goes in with the endive. he looooovvvvvveees grapes but won't be getting them more than 1 or 2 times a week. hates the red ones but will hoff down the green.

Have you tried asparagus? You can try cooking it a little to see if he will eat it, and maybe even mix it with some butternut squash. Some veggies do taste better if you cook it a little. I've heard of somebody's iguana who love roasted asparagus.... Green beans and other beans in the edible pods also make great staple.

They are picky! All of my beardies will eat butternut BUT a few of them will only eat it if it's grated and the others won't touch it if it's grated, they want it diced! :? Whew...lotta work sometimes! But soooo worth it! :D

I know all about different ways to prepare salads for different dragons. Angie will take butternut finely grated, Flippie prefers coarse. They both discovered raspberries last night though - Flippie is still wearing the lipstick! He is such a typical boy - very messy!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
