Are these burns?

He is on paper towels right now, recovering from coccidia and I wonder if this may have been caused by coming in contact with the glass bottom of the tank that gets hit with the basking light (he pushes the paper towels around).

It is all 4 of his feet&palms, but not his belly or tail...

He has also been scratching/digging a lot but that is not unusual for him and these are recent in the past 2 days (I noticed them tonight, they were not there last night when I gave him a bath)

He also has a new cave that is rough in texture and he likes to slide off it...

Either way he is going to vet in the morning for a checkup but just looking for any ideas on the cause?

Hi Breezy...it could be a combo of the rough log and the contact with glass. I've seen posts here with dragon's feet looking like that + they were never sure exactly what caused it. Did you have tile before the paper towels ?

Since he's going to the vet, you could discuss possibility of gout. Just as a rule out...
Doesn't usually happen in all four legs at the same time though.

Yes he was on slate before.

I can almost assure you its something he's coming in contact with. All that digging around could be the culprit. Did you just recently change to paper towels or has it been a good while ago? Was he digging when the slate was in the viv? He may be telling you to put it back(they can be quite bossy, lol)!
Gout forms crystals in the joints and causes them to swell, I don't see that in the pics.

Gout can't be identified by appearance. A uric acid level and aspiration of joint fluid is really the only diagnostic way to diagnose it.
But like I said, its just something to discuss with the vet as a rule out.

Paper towel is recent.

Vet did bloodwork on him today because he is still not eating or pooping (urates and water only) since being treated for coccidia and he says keep an eye on his feet until after that he doesn't want to treat anything til results come in.

Sounds like a reasonable vet. I like the conservative approach until an actual diagnosis is made.
When lab work comes back let us know what the values are.

Rankins is right, a lot of vets will just throw medication at it, not actually knowing what it is(a guess). I for one will not give the "guess" meds till its confirmed that its what she needs.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
