My beardie Lady is three years old. This morning I got up and she was laying very flat and very still when I reached in to touch her she jerked and flared her beard. She can be grumpy but has only flared at me probably twice. Her skin is also very cold. I moved her under her heat lamp and now she is more alert. Is this something I should be concerned about or is she trying to hibernate?

It sounds to me like she was just warming herself up in the morning. My guy can be grumpy in the morning before he warms up. Dragons will often lay very flat and pancake themselves to absorb more heat. It is hard to say whether she is entering brumation, but I don't think so. Just give her about an hour to warm up before bugging her in the morning and she will be your happy little girl.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
