Hi everyone,
For the past 2-3 months Belle our female who is just about a year now has refused to eat and all she wants to do is hide in her cool end and sleep.
From everything i have read she is likely in burmation - i have gave her green everyday but she never touches them - i also offer her crickets and super worms. The crickets just run all over her and she hates that so i dont leave them in long and i put supers in front of her and she may eat 3 or 4 every few days and then walk away to her cool spot
What i was wondering should i just leave her and stop bringing her up to her basking spot and stop trying to feed her?
I have a mega ray and a heat emitter - should i turn off the megaray and leave the heat emitter on?
This is all new to me - we have a male who is about 3 and has never burmated.
We are going away for 2 weeks in March and I am not sure whetehr to keep her megar ray on the timer or shut it right off and let her sleep while we are gone?
My parents are coming feed our male - they will just fill his salad and put some supers in a bowl and he will clean all that up well - but i dont want them putting crickets in Belles tank as my parents are not critter people and will not hand feed her crickets or worms like we do for her. The crickets will just walk all over her and really piss her off.
I am so stressed out what to do when we go away!
