anyone else's beardy burmating? Ive only had him since march of this year and hes about 11 months old I believe, soo Ive never seen what burmating is. Ive read they become completely lethargic and dont move or wake up. But Dorito seems to be awake, but has been very lazy recently. Also doesnt eat much, maybee one superworm a day if that, and I have yet to actually see him eat his greens. He stays in the same spot in his hammock next to the heat source, but not directly under it unless i place him there which hell stay for a few minutes and then moved somewhere close where he can rest and has partially opened eyes. Oh and I bathe him about 2-3 times a week to try to get him to poop which he does but usually just once a week, which is different too. But he hasnt been eating much at all. Also he is darker than normal but no stress marks.

This is just all new to me and can become a little worrisome because ive never expierenced it.

any feed back would be greatly appreciated, oh and i hope this is the right forum for this disscusion haha

A lot of them are brumating at this time of year. There are several levels of brumation. Not all of them go completely to sleep for long periods, they'll eat less and get lazier as you're describing. Their system just slows down a bit. I suggest monitoring his weight regularly. You may notice a small dropoff but it should be generally stable. A dramatic weight drop may indicate another health issue. There is further information about brumation here https://www.beardeddragon.org/articles/brumation/

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
