Bulb went out

I woke up this morning & went to turn on her light & it stayed on for a few minutes but had a ringing noise so I turned it off so now it's not coming back on. Can I use her nighttime heat lamp for the day until I can get a new bulb tomorrow as a heat source or should I just leave it off?

This happens from time to time. I like to buy basking lights in pairs so I have one on hand since they usually don't give too many signs before going out. How are the temps in the house? It's probably fine to leave the lights off for a day but if your CHE brings the temps up a bit it shouldn't hurt to use it if you want to.

You can also just try a regular incandescent bulb, just check your temps again. It's good to provide light, even if not much heat, so at the very least I'd stick some kind of light (that produces white light, like not a colored bulb) and put that on just so it won't be dark.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
