Bulb life

I'm not sure if this has been posted or not and im sorry if it was but I'm not sure how to tell.
I have a reptison 10.0 that is about 3wks old. I know this is early to ask but want to make sure
zig's ganna be ok. I did change the bulb from a 5.0 'cause that's what the pet store gave me.
I'm glad I change it he perked up and color got brighter but just wondering. I've learned quickly
that this site is ggggrrreeaat for advice and you all are wonderful. Sorry no pic's still trying to figure '
out how to do it. VERY CONFUSING about how to post pic's. Thanx everyone

Bulbs should be replaced every 6 months.
As for posting pics, go to http://www.photobucket.com, set up an account, upload your pics there, then copy/paste the "img" code from the photobucket picture directly into your post on here and it will show the pic.
