Hi everyone,

I was looking into building a stand that could hold 2-3 40gallon breeder tanks... ofcourse that is leaving room for me to open the lid and have the lights on top! I have no Idea how to and I went to a carpenter and he told me that he would do the job for be but it's only a stand no doors or racks and he would charge me $200 plus the materials. ahhhhhhhh!!! I thought that was crazy! if anyone can help me please let me know.

Thank you
Bradley

What are you looking for help me? Do you have a design that you want to make? If so, can you post a pic?

What I really just want is like a regular stand but that can hold 2-3 tanks and maybe have like one shelf to hold my feeding supplies.

I was looking at other posts and I am really just wanting to build something out of 2x4's that is big enough and strong enough to hold 2-3 tanks in the same locations... I was wondering what screws I could use, should I use those metal bindings that I have seen some people using! or should I just build a custom enclosure out of plywood sheets and 2x4's and be done with the whole tanks, enclosure, and stands problem!

I would suggest the garage type storage shelves. You can adjust the height of them, find them at the size you need easily, build for heavy duty storage, and the best part is that I've seen the 4x2 ones on sale at Lowe's for $89. Not bad to be able to stack 3+ vivs! Being at Lowes you can pick up a step stool while you are at it too, you may need it.....

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
