Vicky, I'm as shocked as you are that he allows me to hold, pet, stroke, and clean him. Of the almost 4 months that I had him, Buddy only snapped at me once - when I was rubbing the top of his neck to wash him - but he didn't bite and retreated when I tapped on the top of his nose.
