Ok so some of you might remember Buddies story. When i got him at petco-hell he was half dead (i didnt want him to die all the way) Later I started running into more problems. Most of his toes were broken, he had an infection from in on his back right leg and to top it off he had a severe case of yellow fungus. I was terrified when the infection started spreading his broken toes started drying up and falling off leaving blood all over place and the fungus getting larger. He was never active and I would not have given him a week. Thanks to the help of the members here as well as my local pet shop specialists (yes they knew wut they were doing) and my own tremendous research Buddy is not a healthy 9 month old dragon (only missing most of his toes but better then dead). Without a reptile vet in the area I managed to fight off his infection with antibiotic cream, clear off the yellow fungus with a commercial disinfectant recommended to me by a farmer, and bring him to a condition that I consider happy and healthy. After the 8 months of fighting I came home today to find him walking the cage (he would not move for days before i had to chase the crickets to him) during feeding he chased his own food, during bath he actually swam around (i need a bigger tub lol) and is now exploring his cage after walking around my desk and bed.
I would ike to thank all that have given me advice from Buddie's name as well as scream with happiness. Thank You all that helped.
