Bud banging his head on glass

Heya everyone,

Just a quick question that is concerning us at the mo.

Out Bud seems to want to escape from his viv. At the same time every night in the hot end, he starts trying to climb up the glass and thrash his tail and bang his head against it. Any idea what this might mean?

Could be a case simple glass dancing. One of my males does it every couple of weeks. Just dont take him out when he does it.

hm, this one does it every day though, could it maybe be his reflection?

This could be glass dancing which I don't necessarily think is a good thing. It's not really bad, but i think it may be kind of stressful. BDs don't really understand glass. They can't see it and don't know what is holding them back. When they see there reflection in that glass, that is all they see. the reflection. They don't realize that it's JUST a reflection and in their eyes, it is a real object. I really don't think that they like glass enclosures and I would suggest trying to get a non-reflective enclosure. I have a glass one now, but will be making a wood one sometime.
