If a Bearded dragon is moved (as in the owner moves to a new house) while he is in brumation can this cause troubles? i was informed by the previous owner that Cogma attempted brumation in February of last year but then she moved and now hes showing signs of ether brumation or sickness and with me being a new owner i have now gone into crazy parent mode...any help?

If he's carefully moved and his temps are kept low (70f) I don't see why it would be a problem. You can always just move him yourself, keep him wrapped in a fleece blanket so he stays somewhat warm, then once his tank is put into place, put him back in the same position he was in. The only time I've known of a beardie to get sick ws because he didn't evacuate his digestive system before sleeping & had food in his tummy that rots (they have to have a clear digestive system to brumate). So give that a try. If he wakes up for awhile, he'll go back to sleep once he settles in. Hope that works! and good luck moving. If you're really concerned, find a good vet & give him a checkup after you've moved. Keep me posted on what happens.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
