Brumation I Hope, he is starting to make me worry.

Hi, I have a 1.5 Year old Male, he has not eaten anything for about a month, He seems to be sleeping a lot but he is not always hiding in his cave. His weight seems to be good, His eyes may be a bit sunken but that could be in my head and his color is a bit dull/pale. He did go to the bathroom yesterday which was the first time in a few weeks. I am hoping it is just Brumation and not a sickness. I have read a lot so i am not sure you guys can add anything but figured Id post.

It is the time of year as long as he is of good weight and not losing weight ---- but you need to keep him hydrated -- a bath syringe or water on the nose -- he does need water - once a week offer see if he will drink

I have been spraying hm down every few days when I see him awake, I also do keep water in his dish. I have Premade/Store bought food in a dish just encase he wants to eat and I have been offering a salad every few days, Along with super worms or Dubai, But he just ignores them.

His poops will tell you a lot about his health --- if they are firm moist and dark and the urate is firm moist and white they are good w/ some smell of course but will not drive you from the room ---- if they ever get where they are runny and smell so bad they are chasing you out of the room then your looking at possible parasites

Hello,

They can definitely make us all worry this time of year, with their brumating, etc. If he is
maintaining his weight & appears healthy then just keep an eye on him but you can let
him be a little lazy right now.
If you have pictures, you can post them of him as well.

Well We woke up today and he was face down in his water dish ( Not deep ) and he has passed, His weight appeared to be about normal for him which appeared to be healthy I am not sure what happened , He did not appear sick or I would have taken him to a vet and now I feel terrible.

That is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is it w / the water dishes and dragons passing in them - I hear about this alot!!! He had no black bearding ? What in the world-- I am shocked at this news :shock: -I feel horrible --- I am sorry --

His beard was black this morning after passing, But not before at least not more than he has his whole life.
