Brumation for Spike

Spike is 5 years old and going through his first real brumation. I have read several articles about it, but I do have a question. They say that your beardie will go to the cool side of the tank to sleep. Spike doesn't. He continues to hang out on his hammock on the warm side. Is this o.k. or should I put him on the cool side?

I think its more about where the dragon feels most comfortable.

OK, that sounds good. This is his first real brumation, and as usual, he is still driving me nuts!
