Brumation and Baths

My female is about 2 years and she is brumating. She was down for about a week and I woke her up by moving her. She decided to bask and I offered her some greens and she ate them. We went and bought some roaches at the pet store and gave her a few. She basked. She pooped. The next day, I was going to let her go back and brumate but one of the kids fed her some supers. So couldn't let her go back in until she had passed what was in her stomach. I kept her awake, as hard as it was. Ended up taking her rocks and branches out so she wouldn't hide under them. Gave her a bath before bed hoping for a poo, but no. Woke her up and let her heat up for the day. Did not feed since the kids gave supers. Gave her another bath and she pooped. Dried her off, warmed her up and put her cage furniture back in. She immediatly went down and hid. She's been there for a week again.

These are my questions:

1. Should I try to give her a bath and risk waking her again?

2. Do I really need to disturb her slumber for a bath? Is it ok to let her sleep until she wakes up then give her a bath? She has never had any hydration issues in the past and when she awoke last week she was still very hydrated, still plump, but crabby.

3. Is it mean not to feed her when she is awake for her bath and warm up? So she can go back brumating without needing to excrete what she ate?

Your thoughts, opinions, and advise are greatly appreciated. I have read the brumation article and found it helpful.

Are you trying to mate her? What is the purpose for you brumating her? Some will do it naturally but I've thought that if they don't there's no need to put her in brumation. I may be wrong but thats what ive understood.

What pet store sells roaches?

She wants to go into brumation. Mating her is out of the question. We are not wanting to breed her at this point in time. Maybe in a couple years, if we have the time and energy to spend on that adventure. I would love to have her out and about but she doesn't want any part of anyone right now.

As for the roaches, it's a small reptile store locally that had them. But what roaches? I don't have any roaches. (it's illegal to sell, buy, or breed roaches in Canada) We have just started our own colony. It will take awhile to get it established enough to feed off from though. The things we do, legal and illegal we do for our beardies.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
