brumating i think??? digg spots required??

Are digging spots required for bearded dragons? Because all i have in my enclosure are a bridge, a cave, feeding dishes, and tiled floors... i know nothing about brumation except that they do nothing, which is what i think my 9 month old beardie is doing because he has been sleeping in his cave for the last couple days without coming out and hasn't eaten anything either. Are they supposed to dig and hibernate like a polar bear?

Some like to dig. Not everyone has a digging spot in their enclosures. Some who do use a towel or blanket.

I am not sure if your dragon is brumating or not. Seems a little young to me.

What are the temps in the tank? (basking spot and cool side)
What UVB are you using?

my temps are 95-105 in the hot end, 65-75 in the cool end. Hydrometer reads 40 in the daytime and 55 at night. I'm currently using an 'Exo-Terra' Solar Glo mercury vapor bulb and an 'All Living Things' basking bulb.

What age do bearded dragons go into brumation? Today my beardie came out at 1 pm and i gave her(might be a him...) a bath and she defecated then i put her back into the tank. Two hours later she went back into the cave and is looking out from the inside. The sun is still out. I don't know what to make of this.....
