Brumating beardie's temperature

Our adult beardie, KittyKitty, seems to be in brumation. He's in his cave and all appears well. However he's very cool to the touch. How can I be sure he's not getting too cold, and should I still spray a mist in the tank for humidity? :study:

They are made to have a cool period during brumation. Mine sleep for months in my basement at 60F every winter....no misting at all.

Yep, will be very cool to the touch. Don't mist. You don't want to creatae humidity! Humidity = bad for beardies.

So do you mean you don't have the lights on at all when they're sleeping?
So if I see Scout and or Riza both in their hides should I turn their lights off and just leave them until they wake up?

*new to the brumating thing and both of them are doing it*

Yup, they'll come out and look for a basking light when they are ready to wake up.

Just make sure that they poop before they brumate, because you don't want any food inside of them for that long.

Ah, okay.
You see, IDK about Riza, but Scout is still a little off/on. Riza's been in a dead sleep, so I can tell my sis to keep her lights off.

They've both gone to the bathroom recently and neither of them are eating... so I guess since Scout, I believe, is still asleep(he might be awake now) if he's still sleeping then I can turn off his heat lamp/UVB....
