Brumating beardie?

Hey guys, my beardie, kog maw, has been acting a little lazy recently. He doesn't seem unable to move, more so just unwilling. Today I found him sleeping on his hammock at 5pm and it is fall time. He's around 7 months old ( not too sure since he was a rescue) he ate regularly this morning and took a big healthy poop today as well. As for medication he is currently on, he is taking itraconazole once a day for 7 days. Do you think he may be getting ready to brumate? He does have a cave but he never really used it even when active.

Usually they dont go into full brumation at that age or atleast mine didnt - he did get real lazy tho last Dec -- it could be the meds hes on someone else would haft to weigh in on that one-- but it could be the weather too --- as long as hes eating and pooping I would say let him be --- its when they start losing weight is when you should get concerned

Hi there, does kog have fungus ? I know the meds. he is on is used for Y.F. usually. Can you post pics of him [ showing the fungal infection if he has it ] as well as his set up ? Here's how to post pics :

It's good that he eats well though. :)

Just for context, he did have surgery a couple months ago to remove spots of fungus, he has been on oral anti-fungals as well as creams. The photos above are the areas around where the surgery was done. The fungal spots look a bit larger than they actually are due to dried fungal cream! They have not gotten any larger as of recently though.

He has a 45 gallon tank, the temperature is an average 105F on the hot side and 80 on the cool side with an average of 20% humidity in the tank. He doesnt use his cave but will use his hammock avidly. He ate dinner about an hour ago and ate quite a few large crickets. (Also the forest background was the only one available at petsmart at the time, i know he isnt a forest animal but i wanted some sort of back drop for him.)

I've never heard of surgery on fungal areas, how long was he at the vets for that ?. Are you sure it wasn't just a skin scraping ? How long have you had him ? Can you post pics in better light + without the cream on if possible ?

I'd get better pictures but he doesn't particularly like being on his back and me putting him on a glass surface doesnt really allow for great lighting. I believe the word used by the doctors was "debridement" and I dont know the details because i adopted him after he had the surgery done from a foster. I've had him for a month and a half now and the surgery was done about 7 weeks prior to that? (A bit iffy on the time line as again, I got him from a foster parent).

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
