My 2 year old beardie Baby just came out of brumation a few days ago (a godsend because for a while I thought she was a goner..) and has been glass dancing nonstop. Her chin is turning black and I'm not sure if it's dried blood or a bruise. She's in a 40 gallon tank with repticarpet and a 100w powersun. Basking temp is 112 (kinda hot I know but I have a log with different heights) and the cool side is 83. Surrounding area around the log is 98. I thought maybe it was too hot or she was bored and I'd set her outside her cage and she'd go straight to her cage and glass dance to get back inside. I've set her down in the living room and she'll run down the hall, into my bedroom and bonk her nose on her cage. I don't know what to do. She'll bask for 5 minutes, glass dance for 5 minutes, bask, etc etc. Is she just going to be crazy for a while? This is the first time she's brumated and none of my other lizards have ever brumated before so I don't know what to expect.
I'm just concerned with her chin, it's almost like she's rubbing the scales off. I have half of her cage covered with a blanket but she glass dances over there too.
