Broken one of my sliding glass doors

While cleaning out my Charlies tank yesterday evening, I managed to knock one of the two the glass panels off it's rail and "crash". Oops. Various expletives followed.

Fortunately I had some plastic model board in the garage and could quickly fashion a temporary replacement- so keeping the heat for the night etc. But I am now faced with the dilemna of where to get a replacement glass. In the good old days I could pop down to the hardware shop who would sell me a custom piece cut to my size.

Any suggestions where to get a replacement glass? It's a 4ft x 2ft x2ft tank.

do you have a glass company anywhere near you? they might have scrap that they could cut down for you. or look on craigslist

Home depot or lowes will also cut glass for you. Just measure the existing one and head on out...
