My name is Jen, I am a proud owner of a baby Beardie named Brodie. Years ago I took in basically a hospice case of a beardie, his owner have him up just because he was older, blind and was in the beginning stages of kidney failure. So I took him in and made his last weeks as happt and comfy as I could. After that it took a while to even entertain the thought of another beardie....until I saw Brodie yesterday lol.he has such a quirky personality, even my mom who can't stand lizards or any reptiles thinks he's adorable (still won't pet him though lol)
Since this is my first baby beardie, I've found I'm quite paranoid over everything (is the lighting good enough? Maybe I should've bought the more expensive one...oh he only are 3 crickets so far...is he sleeping enough? Is he sleeping TOO much?!?) Anyone else ever feel that way initially?
Brodie and I look forward to being part of the community! Happy Thanksgiving!
