Breeding supers

I am making my first run at breeding super i isolated 15 worms and not have 4 beetles and 11 aliens. My beetles seem really lazy is this normal. they dont seem to do much of anything at all. Thanks houses in bran and have carrots for moisture

how long did it take for your worms to become alien? Then from alien to beetle?

I have mine separated for a month and out of the 14 that i have, only 3 ave become alien.

Do you have a heat cable or a uth to heat them up?

it took two weeks for my 15 worms to turn into aliens. they are not heated or anything my room is around 78 degrees and make sure they are kept in the dark gives.them a sense of security. are ur worms black? have u been feeding them? seems they should have morphed already seperate and starve them and makes sure its dark thats all i did

Most of them started curling but some are still moving around. They aren't black. When i look under the container i can still see their legs moving. There is no food in their little containers. Just a hole on the lid.

When i separated them, they are half the size of my finger so they were pretty fat.

I have them in a box over a towel so its dark and somewhat warm. My room temp is around 70-75.

It's just weird how they haven't separated yet.

The ones that became an alien was 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't become a beetle. The color is still more white than dark.

Hmm my guess would be all batches depending on size and conditions in which they were raised will affect the stages and length of time. sounds like u are doing it all right. just be patient and it will happen. let me know what happens when they do hatch casue is seems my beetle have no energy
