breeding my beardies food myself

Hey im a real novice at this kinda thing, and i know petshops and stuff arnt exactly expensive but i was wondering if it would be worth making my own colony while my beardie is just young to save me money?

what would be the best type of thing to breed? with the factors of how easy they are to care for, how easy they are to establish a colony with and how good they are for my beardie

Yes!! It is definitely worth it to establish your own feeders. Many people are raising dubia roaches, crickets, supers, hornworms and ..... the list keeps going. The best thing for you to do is spend some time searching and reading the posts in the "Feeders" section. You will find answers to all of your questions.
