I've been researching breeders in search of my next baby and have seen a few breeders that offer shipping in unsafe (to me) conditions at the buyers risk. By unsafe, I'm referring to shipping during the busy holiday season when delays are a real possibility and/or when temps are too high or too low. Is this really the norm? To me it just seems really irresponsible of the breeder to knowingly put their animals at risk because at the end of the day it is the beardie who stands to suffer a loss, not the buyer.
