breeding and behavior

so i have a friend that wants me to let my maxwell breed with her two girls..im all for it max is beautiful and would probly love to breed. however im worried as a lady my boyfriend spoke to said it changes their demeanor..i want to breed him but i dont want his attitude to change because he is soo chill right now loves going outside and riding on my shoulder that it would kill me if he got mean after this ..ive had him for 2 years so im kinda attached ..also can a girl beardie die if a much larger boy beardie mates her..my max is very large approximately 19.5 inches and about 780 grams maybe more i dont have a scale so i need to know if the girl needs to weigh the same or if the boy would know better than to kill her?

Ok---4 one thing, I've NEVER heard of mating making a male mean!! I've got 10 dragons rite now & have had as many as 25 at once, been keeping lizards (also Uromastyx) for 16 yrs now. I currently have eggs incubating at about a month old. My male, Pickles, who mated w/ the mama still sleeps on my shoulder every night! He's soooo sweet, like ur male, and he's not changed a bit. If anything, he's even sweeter! Mating isn't gonna make him mean! If he's already good natured he'll stay that way. Second, I'm not sure about ur 2nd question but I've never heard of a female dying as a result of mating w/ a much larger male. If she's that small, maybe she's not old enuff to breed. They need to be at least 2 yrs old AND for the female especially in very good health. If she's small it sounds like she's either too young or not healthy. Remember, they gotta carry & lay those eggs so ur friend needs to make sure she's being fed properly, getting her UVA & UVB, getting her supplements w/ a good multi vitamin & enuff calcium & Vit D3 b4 he breeds her. If she's not healthy he needs to get her that way first or it cud kill her. It's like us when we're pregnant - u wanna b as healthy as possible to make sure the baby is too so is the same for any animal. Since u don't own the females, I'd ask ur friend to make sure his girls r healthy enuff to breed. If they're that small it sounds like sumthings off -- either age or health.
