Breakfast Time

In the mood for pictures today. This is Draco Phoenix eating his breakfast. He actually loves the juvenile bearded dragon food from RepCal. We've been feeding it to him with his veggies, and he'll usually eat that first.

This morning when he woke up, one leg looked a little swollen, and he was favoring it a little bit. I don't see any differences in the leg any more, so I'm thinking it's probably from him sleeping on his cactus. It worries me, because he looks like he's impaling himself. I want to start calling him Vlad the Impaler...haha.

cute beardie...my Trixie didn't like those until just recently. i heard this cracking noise and didn't know what it was until i saw her eating it. are u soaking yours in water?

Yes, I'm soaking them in water. It makes it easer for them to eat. You could also soak them in apple juice or something (at least that's what it says on the container), but Draco Phoenix likes water better, and it helps keep him hydrated.
