I'm a brand new Beardie owner and relatively new to herpetoculture in general. I love it so much that I'm starting to do some research on breeding and may soon start a small-scale project at home.
Anyway, my beardie's name is Bob and he was a rescue. The poor guy is missing 2 toes and the majority of his tail. Also, for some reason, his tail is discolored from the base to the end of his "stub" in a grayed out tone.
He was kept in horribly dirty and isolated conditions and is very aggressive towards me now. I've had him for close to a month now and he is showing signs of improving.
I'll post some pictures later on today when I get a chance. He is about 1 year old with an SVL of about 6 inches.
I'm glad to have found these forums and you can expect me to show up all over them in the future. Thanks for all the info so far!
