Brand New Beardie Layed Eggs Today

Okay, I know that beardies should not be bred until 2 years of age, but my little girl just layed eggs today. We just bought her 2 weeks ago from a reptile store where she was with a male. They said she was a sub-adult, but they were not sure exactly how old. She is quite a bit larger than my other female who is about 9 months old, so I'm hoping she's at least 18 months. Anyway, we noticed that she was getting huge in the belly and a few days ago we started feeling eggs in there. I knew there was a good chance they were fertile so I bought an incubator, thermo/hygro and vermiculite and waited. She has been digging for days, although she didn't care for either of the lay boxes we gave her. Finally I gave up and put a huge sloping pile of damp sand and soil in her enclosure and this morning she layed 24 eggs. I transferred them, without turning or rotating, to the incubator which is set at 84 degrees and 80-85 % humidity. The eggs all look white, but they feel kind of soft and plump and squishy. Is that what they are supposed to feel like? I was expecting a harder shell, like bird eggs. Also, I didn't candle them, but I couldn't see any veins or the telltale spot in them when I held them up to the light. How and when will I know if they are fertile? I was not really prepared for this, but I am trying to do the best I can for these beardies. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I candled some of the eggs last night and they looked fertile. I saw a little dot and some veins, so I guess we are going to have babies in a few months. Everything looks good so far, but I still feel a little lost. I'm doing some research to make sure that mommy and eggs stay healthy and I just wanted to thank everyone on this site for the help and advice. Just going through and reading all the old posts has been such a big help.
