bowel movements

Beardy seems to not be making a movement unless i give him a bath...nothing has changed in the last month in which this has been happening other than temps at night have dipped lower, tho not ever lower than 65. I could keep the night time temps up higher if you think that is whats causing it...any ideas?

theres nothing wrong with him going in the bath, he probably just feels more comfortable doing it there. Many beardies do it, yours is not the first

This is very helpful information. My Beardie is much the same, although she does do it in the cage occassionally, it's mostly when she's given her bath.

Sunny will poo mostly when he is in the bath. I usually give him a bath every night or every other night and this helps ensure that he DOES poo often. I would much rather have him do it in there. Easier for me to clean than in his viv.

I encourage this in my beardie. In the morning I plop him in the bath for a few minutes so he will poo then after dinner at night I do the same thing. Much easier to wash it down the sink than to have to clean it out of his cage.
